The Bullsnakes came out with high octane energy this Saturday against the visiting Vegas Valley Hawks in front of a excited crowd. Many in the crowd were at there first Bullsnakes game of this inaugural season.

Being short handed, the Bullsnakes didn’t disappoint the crowd. Running primarily with a guard attack, the Bullsnakes relied on center Dominique Josephs to hold down the middle.

Bullsnakes guards Lamar Morinia and Derius Hegwood continued to attack the basket with drives and 3-pointers while finishing the first half with 17pts and 14pts respectively.

The game was blown wide open by halftime with the score being 69-40 in the Bullsnakes favor.

The 3rd quarter became an exercise in maintaining the large lead. The Bullsnakes went through several combinations of players while the Hawks worked to gain some semblance of momentum.

The Bullsnakes lead held steady as Bullsnakes guard Lamar Morinia rested the 4th quarter. Lamar Morinia finished with 23pts. Top scorers were Damian Salais with 22pts, Derius Hegwood with 21pts. The Bullsnakes walked away with a 138-99 victory over the Hawks.
