About the New Mexico Bullsnakes:
The New Mexico Bullsnakes are a proud member of the American Basketball Association (ABA), committed to providing exciting basketball action and engaging community experiences in the New Mexico region. We are gearing up for an exhilarating 2025-26 season, focused on fan engagement and continued success on and off the court.

Responsibilities:

GameDay Operations:

Coordinate and oversee all pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment and promotional activities.
Manage setup and breakdown of all event-related equipment, signage, and promotional materials.
Liaise with arena staff, vendors, and team personnel to ensure seamless execution of game day plans.
Supervise and train game day staff and volunteers, providing clear instructions and support.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during game days promptly and effectively.

Fan Engagement:

Develop and implement creative fan engagement activities, including contests, giveaways, and interactive experiences.
Coordinate with the marketing team to integrate sponsor activations and promotional campaigns into game day events.
Ensure a positive and energetic atmosphere for all attendees.

Logistics & Planning:

Assist in the development of game day scripts and timelines.
Coordinate logistics for special guests, performers, and community groups.
Manage inventory of promotional items and fan giveaways.
Assist with budgeting for game day expenses and track expenditures.

Communication:

Serve as a primary point of contact for game day staff, volunteers, and external partners.
Maintain clear and concise communication with all relevant departments (e.g., coaching staff, sales, marketing).
Provide post-game reports and feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in event coordination, preferably within a sports or entertainment setting.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to think on their feet.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player with a strong customer service ethic.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the game schedule (ABA season typically runs from late October/early November to March).

Compensation:
This is a part-time, per-game position. Compensation will be $100 per home game, commensurate with experience.

Website Coordinator-New Mexico Bullsnakes Basketball (2025-26 ABA Season)

The New Mexico Bullsnakes Basketball team is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and creative Website Coordinator for the upcoming 2025-26 American Basketball Association (ABA) season. This part-time, seasonal position will be responsible for managing and maintaining the team's official website, ensuring it is a dynamic, informative, and engaging hub for our fans, media, and partners. Responsibilities:

Content Management:

Regularly update website content including news articles, game schedules, player bios, statistics, team roster, ticket information, merchandise, and sponsor logos.
Coordinate with the marketing and media relations teams to ensure timely posting of press releases, game recaps, and other relevant announcements.
Upload and manage multimedia content such as photos, videos, and audio clips.

Website Maintenance & Optimization:

Ensure the website is fully functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing across all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Monitor website performance, identifying and resolving any technical issues (e.g., broken links, loading errors).
Implement basic SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards.

Fan & Partner Integration:

Integrate third-party tools or widgets as needed (e.g., ticketing platforms, merchandise stores, live stats feeds).
Update sponsor sections and ensure proper display of partner logos and links.
Collaborate with the social media coordinator to align website content with social media campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track website traffic and user engagement using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Provide regular reports on website performance and suggest improvements.

General Duties:

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across the website.
Stay informed of new web technologies and trends to recommend future enhancements.
Assist with other digital initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in website content management, preferably with a sports team, entertainment venue, or similar organization.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

GameDay Filming:

Operate professional video camera equipment to capture high-quality footage of all home games, including pre-game warm-ups, in-game action, fan reactions, halftime entertainment, and post-game celebrations.
Anticipate key plays and moments to ensure comprehensive and impactful coverage.
Utilize various camera angles and techniques to provide diverse and engaging footage.
Ensure proper lighting, focus, and audio levels throughout the game.

Content Delivery:

Transfer and organize raw footage efficiently after each game.
Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to identify key clips and highlights for immediate use.
Assist in the creation of short-form content for social media (e.g., highlight reels, player features, fan interaction clips).
Provide footage for potential long-form content, such as season recaps or promotional videos.

Equipment Management:

This part-time, seasonal role is critical in visually documenting the excitement, intensity, and unique atmosphere of our home games. If you have an exceptional eye for detail, a strong understanding of sports photography, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

GameDay Filming:

Capture dynamic, high-resolution still images of all home games, including pre-game warm-ups, in-game action, key plays, player emotions, coaching staff, fan interactions, halftime performances, and post-game moments.

Utilize advanced camera techniques and equipment to deliver sharp, well-composed, and impactful photographs.

Adapt quickly to changing lighting conditions and fast-paced action within the arena.

Focus on capturing compelling narratives and memorable visuals that tell the story of each game.

Image Management & Delivery:

Efficiently cull, select, and process (basic editing, color correction, cropping) a curated set of high-quality images immediately following each game.

Organize and tag images for easy retrieval and archiving.

Upload selected photos to a designated cloud storage or shared drive for use by the marketing, social media, and website teams within a specified timeframe.

Potentially assist with more in-depth retouching or specialized requests as needed.

Equipment Care:

Responsible for the proper setup, breakdown, and safe handling of all photography equipment (cameras, lenses, flashes, memory cards, etc.).

Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition and report any issues promptly.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with the GameDay Events Coordinator, Videographer, and other team members to identify crucial moments and ensure comprehensive coverage.

Adhere to all team and league media guidelines and access protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a photographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in sports or live event photography (please provide links to your work in your application).

MUST own and be proficient in operating professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, including understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and manual modes, along with appropriate lenses (e.g., telephoto for action, wide-angle for atmosphere).

Strong understanding of photographic principles, composition, lighting (natural and artificial), and storytelling through images.

Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar) for culling, basic color correction, and cropping.
